The Life of Chuck – Wednesday 20th August 2025

I had high hopes for this movie; the reviews were all glowing with praise, and it was based on a story by master storyteller, Stephen King.

Unfortunately, I found the film to be completely underwhelming and pretty boring. It’s like they were trying too hard to make something profound, whilst forgetting to make the audience care about or invest in the character.

It was also too slow for my liking, and the fragmented structure of the story didn’t really add anything, but instead, broke the flow.

Honestly, at the time of writing, it’s February 2026, and I honestly can’t remember much about this movie, which says it all really. I wasn’t impressed, and it didn’t stick with me.

It’s definitely overrated.
