I saw this film on the recommendation of a friend, and I have to say, it wasn’t for me. It’s an ensemble piece from the early 80’s, about a bunch of University friends having a reunion after getting married, having kids, and building their careers (I think they called it being ‘normal’, but now it’s called ‘having it all’).
None of the characters, or their dilemmas resonated with me. I found the whole thing a bit of a chore to sit through to be honest. Not much more to say really. Lawrence Kasdan will forever be a legend because he wrote two of the greatest movies in cinema history (The Empire Strikes Back and Raiders of the Lost Ark), but the rest of his filmography is mixed, at best.
