Remember The Titans - Thursday 23rd January 2025

I don’t really remember this film (from back in the day); probably because it’s an American Football film, and the rest of the world doesn’t really care for that sport.

Anyway, I watched it for the first time (based on the positive reviews on IMDB), and it was pretty good!

It’s a cliché and predictable sports movie, with the usual American racial tensions that we’ve seen a million times before (a bunch of whites and blacks learn to overcome their prejudices etc. etc.). That said, a good film is not about how original it is, it’s about how well the story is executed, and this film does it well.

Worth watching for sure.
