Her Alibi – Thursday 13th February 2025

Sometimes, you just wanna turn your brain off and enjoy some romantic nonsense from the good old days.
I had never seen this film, so, I figured I’d check it out.

Tom Selleck is always good (I actually think he would’ve made a decent Indiana Jones), and the film’s other star, Paulina Porizkova (who I’d never heard of) does what she’s meant to do, which is look breathtakingly beautiful!

The film actually does have some funny moments, but they are vastly outnumbered by completely ludicrous ones!
Still, it was enjoyable seeing the two love interests come together in the end.

After the film, I thought about visiting Romania to meet a girl like the one in the film (the character is Romanian), until I googled Paulina Porizkova and found out she’s actually a famous model, from Czechoslovakia!

That’s why you can’t find girls like her any more; because their countries no longer exist! Sigh. So there goes my plan...
