Demon Slayer: The Infinity Castle – Sunday 28th December 2025

I’d been looking forward to watching this for a few months, ever since I finished the Demon Slayer series on Netflix, and expectations were high.

I have to say, it wasn’t as good as I’d hoped.

It’s good, don’t get me wrong, and the characters that we love really get to shine, but it felt more like a movie-length, condensed version of the series, rather than an actual ‘movie’.

It was long, and although it was never boring, the fact that it didn’t build to an all encompassing finale, emphasised the weakness in the film’s structure.

Tanjiro’s still a bad-ass, but Zenitsu steals the show! He elevates himself to some next level, and it is glorious to behold!

I’m definitely looking forward to more, but honestly, this should have been another season of the series, in which case, it would have been the best one yet!
