I was lucky enough to attend a preview of this film, not knowing much about it. It was good. The first act especially, was engaging and high energy. The portrayal of the Russian brat was kinda stereotypical, but having seen young, wealthy Russians in London, I don’t think it was inaccurate. That said, this ain’t a documentary, but a spin on the ol’ Cinderella fairy-tale.

I also liked the fact that it wasn’t some nonsensical narrative about having your cake and eating it; if you’re a ‘ho, you’re gonna be treated like one.
Very much a film of two halves, and I felt the second half was weaker; even stepping into slapstick territory at times, which takes you out of the narrative a bit.
Anyway, absolutely one of the better films of 2024 and worth a watch for sure.
