Inktober - Day 30 - Pen and Paper

I've always found that doodling and sketching on the back of envelopes or on scraps of paper, often produces the best art, or the most 'free' ideas, as they're literally unencumbered by the weight of expectation, and the need to make something 'good'.

The medium is completely disposable, so you just let your mind, and your hand, go wild.
My filmmaking suffers from a similar paralysis, whereby it's so costly to make something (if not financially, than in terms of the effort and reliance on others), that it has to be good, and because it has to be good, nothing ever gets done!
Perhaps the 'disposable' route is the way forward with that too...
