A Late Start... (Predictably)

We’re 51 days into 2025, and this is the FIRST time I sat down to do any art! To be honest, this is in keeping with my life’s motto: Better Late Than Never!

For the past couple of decades, I’ve been imprisoned by my own expectations of myself. Whenever I sit down to write, draw, or even shoot something, it’s always with the burden that it should further my career somehow. A story should only be written if it forms the basis of a film, and a piece of art should always contribute to my filmic visions...
Consequently, I rarely ever do anything just for the sake of it, or the sheer fun of it!

I aim to break free of that prison, and this is my first attempt! A sketch done on my iPad, using Procreate. I really enjoyed drawing it, and am happy with the results.

I aim to draw at least once a week (hopefully more regularly than that), so stay tuned!
